I hiked up Shrine Pass with
Cheryl St. John and three other painters. It was in the 60s, a welcome relief from the 90-100 degree temperatures in town. I spent several hours on the morning painting, and just about an hour on the afternoon one. The sound of approaching rain storms encouraged me to paint very quickly! As we hiked down, it rained for about five minutes, then cleared.
