Mitchell Creek Canyon 11x14 oil

PAAC Paint Out. I was most interested in the light and shadow patterns on the rocks, so that was my focal point.  I left out some of the pine trees to simplify the composition.

Lilacs and Bunny 20x16 oil

The snowball bush has started blooming, and the latest lilacs are still at their peak.  I couldn't resist doing one more lilac painting this spring.

Lilacs in Copper Pot 16x20 oil

I brought some lilacs inside from my garden to paint in the studio.  I liked how the light from the window illuminated the lilacs, and the reflection in the copper.
